While exploring the look of The Hunt, at one point there was the option to set the entire of the film at night. It goes without saying than I'm fond of very dark images - that option was discard to better fit the story and the characters mood throughout the film.

I've always liked this image, unfortunately, it didn't fit anywhere in the story - and the story always takes precedence.

The film is produced by COLA Animation and Studio Kimchi, and co-produced by Studio Unkai and Blauw Films.

The film had its world premiere at the Lisbon International Horror Film Festival (MotelX) where it competed for Méliès d'argent - Best European Short and had its international premiere at the Sitges Film Festival where it competed for Oscar-qualifying "Anima't - Curts Session".
